This is based on the world air quality rankings between January 29-February 8. The data was sourced by a Switzerland based IQ air, that relies from data shared by the Central Pollution Control Board. Mumbai had an AQI of 163. A major reason for the pollution is vehicular and construction dust and also factories and power plants.
