INFO:
👶🏼😴Newborn sleep doesn’t have to be complicated.. let me simplify it for you! 1) keep newborn awake time no longer than 60 minutes. 45 minutes is average and this includes a feed, nappy change, swaddle & back to bed 2) allow some nappy time off between feeds … this doesn’t have to be long .. a little stretch with their happy off for 2 minutes of so is perfect 3) follow feed u002F play (nappy change) u002F sleep .. an overtired baby is impossible to settle hence sticking to their awake windows 4) after they have had their nappy changed, a nice tight swaddle and back to sleep in their safe space for their next round of sleep 5) by week 3 ensure they are sleeping in a darker environment to assist with their sleepy melatonin hormones Bonus tip: a baby with a full but comfortable belly will be able to settle & sleep a good 1.5-2 hour block at a time Remember, getting adequate day sleep can also assist with preventing that fussy witching hour ⏰ 💤 Let me know if you have any questions ❔❓
