I’m seeing the rise of being chronically online as a flex, and my gosh I really think this is both damaging but also so ignorant to what makes effective social. On the rota suggestion before anyone asks: the move to a rota was a team decision (we were always solution driven & because we felt safe, supported & empowered at work we didn’t mind giving up a couple of hours on the occasional weekend). If you’re a lone wolf on social for your company speak to your boss; could the wider team support? What’s an alternative solution?
