BEEF & CARAMELISED MUSHROOM DUMPLINGS 🍄‍🟫 It’s been so cold here in London recently, and there’s nothing better to warm you up than a dumpling 🫶🏽 so I’ve been eating ALL the dumplings to stay cosy 🌶️ I have over 80 dumpling recipes in my cookbook The World Is Your Dumpling, and it’s currently the CHEAPEST it’s ever been at only £11 on TikTok shop!!! Christmas is fast approaching so why not buy a book or two for your nearest and dearest 😍 Ingredients: (Serves 4) For the wrappers: Go to page 39 for my water and flour wrapper recipe! For the filing: 🍄‍🟫 5 chestnut mushrooms, finely chopped 🧅 1 shallot, finely chopped 🧄 3 garlic cloves, minced 🍃 1 tsp dried parsley 🧂 1 tsp flaky salt 🧂 1 tsp ground black pepper 🍬 1 tsp sugar 🐄 250g beef mince For the tomato sauce: 🥫 400g chopped tomatoes tinned 🧂 2 tsp flaky salt Garlic 🧄 2 garlic cloves, minced 🍗 1u002F2 chicken stock cube, with 100ml water 🧂 Black pepper For the coriander mint chilli oil: 🌱 Handful of coriander, finely chopped 🌱 Handful of mint leaves, finely chopped 🌶️ 4 tbsp chilli oil, I used mamayus Extra: 🥜 1 tbsp pinenuts Method: 1. Make your wrappers based on the recipe on p39 of the book! 2. Place a pan on medium heat and drizzle in some olive oil. Add in the garlic, shallots, and mushrooms. Fry for a few minutes, then add in the filling seasonings. Fry for another 5 minutes, stirring frequently, until aromatic. 3. Place the beef in a bowl followed by the mushroom mixture. Mix until well combined. 4. Time to pleat!! Follow the video tutorial on p32 of my cookbook - the binoculars dumpling fold! 5. Place a pan of boiling water on medium heat. Add in all of your dumplings and simmer for 6-8 minutes. Remove and set aside. 6. Meanwhile, add all of your tomato sauce ingredients into a pan and cook gently on low heat until your dumplings are ready. Season accordingly. 7. Also, make your coriander mint chilli oil in a small bowl. 8. When your dumplings are ready, divide the tomato sauce between 4 bowls. Top with dumplings. Garnish with the chilli oil and pinenuts, then serve up and enjoy!! 💛
