It’s election day! 🗳️✨ This is your reminder to go vote. @electionson - www.elections.on.ca for all election resources 🗳️Vote at your assigned voting location from 9 AM to 9 PM. 💳 You do not need your voter information card to vote. Bring one piece of ID with your name and home address when you go to vote. Filming in polling areas isn’t allowed by Elections Ontario provided me some information to share: ‘Elections Ontario is preparing to deliver a fair, efficient, and impartial election. 124 local voting offices are now open and serving people every day. Staff across the province are working diligently to hire over 55,000 polling workers and establish more than 7,000 voting locations to serve 10.8 million electors and ensure voting is accessible and efficient. We also encourage all Ontarians to ensure they are on the Register as soon as possible. Being on the Register connects you with important details about where and when to vote, making the process more efficient when you arrive at the polls. If you’ve recently become a Canadian citizen or will be turning 18 before February 27, your name might not be on the Register yet. Or, if you’ve recently moved, your information may need to be updated.
