Late stage capitalism is just a fancy word for not capitalism. It's used to describe how a capitalist society declines over time as companies gain power over the government, control the markets, and ruin the economy. Then the label of late stage capitalism is put on it to say that capitalism was bad and this is what happens when you put a capitalist system in place.  This is stupid. Do you blame a diet for bad health when you stop eating the diet? If you don't, then stop blaming free market economics for an unhealthy economy when big businesses control legislation so that there is no free market. Yes,  corporations have too much influence over government policy. But not because of capitalism.  It's just old fashioned bribery, manipulation, and illegal behavior.   Also, it's usually a good idea to question labels made by the guy who wrote,
