This week, our team visited the Swan Lake Nature Preserve in Vernon, BC, where a collaborative restoration is set to start in late summeru002Fearly fall 2024! We used the BC Marsh Monitoring Program, co-led by Birds Canada and WildResearch, to gather valuable data on marsh bird species. This helps with population estimates and enhances our understanding of the site’s ecology. More on this project to come!
