BJP is now short of a majority as per the Election Commission of India (ECI) trends. JD(U) spokesperson KC Tyagi clarified that the party is with NDA and will continue to be with NDA. "We continue with our previous stand. Under the leadership of Nitish Kumar, JD(U) once again expresses its support in NDA...We are with the NDA, we will continue to be with the NDA," he added. As per official ECI trends, JD(U) is leading on 15 seats. Counting is still underway.
