Farmer leaders from Haryana blocked the Delhi-Chandigarh national highway amid their demand to the Haryana government to procure their sunflower produce at the MSP that has been guaranteed by the Centre. However, the Haryana government has said that the Centre announces MSP for a variety of crops for the country, but it is up to the states to decide which crops they want to give the MSP on to the farmers.
