Though the incessant rains in Haryana ebbed on Tuesday after three days, waterlogging in the region is yet to clear up. The flooding in Shastri Colony in Sirsa compelled Haryana home minister Anil Vij to opt for boat ride from his residence on Tuesday as he stepped out for work. The three days of incessant downpour has left behind a trail of destruction in several parts of Punjab and Haryana where properties worth crores were damaged and nine lives lost.
