Voting in West Bengal was yet again marred by sporadic incidents of violence and unrest as the Indian Secular Front (ISF) and CPI(M) supporters clashed in Bhangur in the Jadavpur constituency. Several ISF workers and supporters sustained injuries. Meanwhile, the police resorted to lathi-charge on those who got involved in the clashes to restore peace and ensure smooth voting at polling booths in Satuliya area.
