Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman marked the final stage of the Union Budget 2024 preparation on Tuesday with the customary "Halwa ceremony" at North Block. This traditional event symbolises the lock-in of the budget preparation process. The Monsoon Session of Parliament is scheduled to begin on July 22 and will conclude on August 12. The Budget will be presented on July 23.
