Congress leader and Lok Sabha MP Adhir Ranjan Chowdhury held a protest over the misconduct of BDO in Murshidabad on June 21. Adhir Rajan alleged that misbehaviour and misconduct by the BDO Burwan during the protest staged by the grand old party members over the Panchayat polls. “Congress leaders were attacked in the BDO office premises. It is up to the BDO to take action and allow our candidates to contest elections. This is our right but 26 hours have passed and the government here does not care at all. We have approached the court to get justice,” said West Bengal Congress president Adhir Ranjan Chowdhury.
