24-year-old AAP’s Shivani Panchal has become one of the youngest councillors. She won MCD polls from Rohtash Nagar Ward on Aam Aadmi Party’s ticket. The Aam Aadmi Party was at the forefront of giving tickets to young candidates. The party had fielded a total of 22 candidates in the age group of 21 to 29 years. On the other hand, BJP gave minimal chance to the youth with only 4 tickets, while the Congress offered tickets to 19 youths in the age group of 21 to 29 years.
