Meghalaya has thrown up a hung Assembly, with no single party being able to win simple majority. However, the NPP says that it will most probably form the government with UDP and BJP, similar to the arrangement in the current government. NPP leader W Kharlukhi says the final decision on any alliance will be taken by party chief Conrad Sangma. He also said that the people have blessed his party showing they are happy with the way the government performed.
