Election of the Vice-Presidents of the European Parliament, during the EP plenary session (16-19 January) in Strasbourg. Vote and final results are : Alexander Graf Lambsdorff (ALDE, DE) 393, Ulrike Lunacek (Greens/EFA, AT) 441, Dimitrios Papadimoulis (GUE/ NGL, EL) 469, Ioan Mircea Pasçu (S&D, RO) 517, Indrek TARAND (Greens, Estonia) 271. Out of these Pasçu, Papadimoulis, Lambsdorff, Lunacek have obtained the absolute majority of the votes expressed, and are elected.
