In pleasant news, the water level of the Yamuna River in Delhi continues to be below the warning level. The water level was recorded at 203.92 meters at 7 am at the Old Yamuna Bridge on August 18. A month earlier heavy rainfall in the river’s catchment area caused floods in several areas of the national capital. On July 13, the Yamuna in Delhi registered its highest-ever recorded flood level at 208.66 meter.
