Gujarat Assembly Elections 2017: The 1st phase of voting in Gujarat has seen a voter turnout of 68% till 5 PM. The last election saw a turnout of 70.75% in first phase. Final polling is expected to cross the last assembly elections' polling percentage. Overall Polling 68%, as against 70.7% in 2012. 63% in Kutch, Morbi 75%, Rajiv 70%, Jamnagar 65%, Devbhumbi 63%, Porbandar 60%, Jungarh 65%, Gir Somnath 70%, Amrelli 67%, Narmanda 73%, Surat 70%, Dang 70%, Baruch 71%. A total of 977 candidates were in fray for 89 seats in South Gujarat, Kutch and Saurashtra today.
