Description: This May 2023 webinar included speakers from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and Bureau of Justice Assistance (BJA) who discussed the end of the COVID-19 Public Health Emergency (PHE), which ended on May 11, 2023. The speakers highlighted new CDC guidance on COVID-19 and answered questions about the impact on confinement facilities’ COVID-19 programs as a result of the end of the PHE. This event was hosted by BJA’s COVID-19 Detection and Mitigation in Confinement Facilities Training and Technical Assistance Center.
