Happy Saturday! Bridge pose is a great pose for exploring spinal strength and mobility, and there are so many ways to play around and change things up with this shape! Playing with poses in new and novel ways is good for your body AND brain 🧠⁣⁣The squishy-ness and instability of the Coregeous/Pilates inflatable ball can challenge your lower body in a completely different way to a stable surface - the ball under both feet option is especially spicy 🔥🔥🔥 if you give it a try, let me know what you think in the comments! ⁣⁣*If you don’t have this kind of ball to hand, don’t worry! Use a rolled up towel for the back your knee and a firm cushion under your foot/feet (not one that your foot sinks to the floor through!)*⁣⁣It’s spine month in all of my classes so this practice will probably show up at some point 😁 along with other diverse ways to move your spine. Focusing on spinal mobility and stability is super important as we age - and it’s never too early or too late to start!⁣⁣A new 4-week course of Move + Restore starts Monday 9th May if you’d like to join in and show your spine some TLC 💕⁣⁣In-person and Zoom options available, click on the link below or send me a DM for booking + info ⁣https://LauraFeeneyClasses.as.me/?appointmentType=32065943⁣#bridgepose #coregeousball #movementvariety #playfulmovement #mindfulmovement #spinehealth #spinalmobility #spinalstability #movementforbodyandbrain #movementforhealthyaging #move #breathe #rest #flourish | Move + Flourish
